A quad LNB (low-noise block downconverter) is a device used in satellite dishes to receive signals from multiple satellites at the same time. It has four output ports that allow users to connect up to four different satellite receivers or digital TV tuners to it. This means that multiple TVs in a house can receive different satellite channels simultaneously. The LNB is mounted on the satellite dish's arm and receives the signal that is reflected off the dish. It then converts the signal to a lower frequency and sends it to the receiver through a coaxial cable. The quad LNB is a common component in satellite installations and is especially useful for households with multiple viewers in different rooms.
